Kelestani Geography
Kelestan is the eastmost province of Babkha with a long and rocky coastline. As a result, the province is not as arid as many other parts of Babkha, but characterized by low rolling hills covered with an open savanna land. The capital and economic heart of Kelestan is the city of Vayelon on the northern shore. Other cities are Susd and Shom. Vayelon has a busy harbour and is the railway hub that connects the Satrapi with teh rest of the country. Outside the cities, the main economic activity is some agriculture and sheep farming. | ||||
